• Find out that the energy in your food started at the Sun, because plants use the Sun's energy to make food.
• Find out that we get our energy from the food we eat.
• Build an energy chain / food chain that runs Sun → plant → animal → person, and explain each arrow.
• Draw and explain how animals get the energy they need for their life processes from the Sun.
